Just noticed that PayPal.com went down tonight, with a complete and utter crash. Visiting PayPal.com tonight at around 11:20pm Eastern(do not know exact begin time), you would have found a page describing error 500: server error.
The site seems to have come back tonight at 11:37pm Eastern. Lets watch on in the next day or so and see if PayPal tells us whether this was the result of an inbound attack, server updates, or simply can't be accounted for.
